We successfully conducted our FIRST “Safe Firearm Surrender” Event on May 4th, 2024. And what a success it was!

At this inaugural event, we received 27 guns: 4 single shot, 16 handguns, and 7 semi-automatic. We also received 2 BB guns. We disbursed $3850 in gift cards from Kroger and Walmart. Several donors declined gift cards.

Many thanks to all our volunteers for your hard work. And a huge thanks to Scotty Utz and Stan Wilson from RAWtools-South who provide their knowledge, skills, and abilities along with all of the equipment necessary to conduct a safe, effective, and efficient event.

We will be gearing up for a second event next year and hope you will be able to join us and participate in our next event to Turn unwanted guns into garden tools, jewelry, and art.
